Our 25 lb option is the largest bag of Coop Gro Fertilizer that we offer. This size is great for those with large backyard gardens or extensive landscapes with many flowers and shrubs. A single 25 lb bag is enough to feed approximately 800 sq. ft. of backyard vegetable garden or 800 sq. ft. of flower beds.

Coop Gro Fertilizer is packaged in a pelleted form that's easy to apply to your garden area. The pellets allow you to effortlessly sprinkle or drop the fertilizer right where you want it. The pellets also prevent the fertilizer from being "dusty" and being difficult to apply on windy days.

Complete Nutrition for Plants

Coop Gro Fertilizer is a balanced formulation that includes relatively equal amounts of the major nutrients -- nitrogen, phosphorous, and potassium.

I also includes many essential secondary and minor nutrients that aid in plant development and bloom formation.

It also contains 27% carbon, which makes it a great soil amendment to aid in soil structure, water retention, and feeding vital soil organisms.

Coop Gro Usage Instructions

Vegetable Gardens

• Before Planting: Apply 2.5 cups per 10 sq. ft. of garden space. At this rate, 6 lb bag will cover 75 sq. ft. and a 25 lb bag will cover approximately 312 sq. ft.

• Re-apply: 1.5 cups per 10 sq. ft. of garden space. At this rate, a 6 lb bag will cover 155 sq. ft. and a 25 lb bag will cover approximately 645 sq. ft.

Flower Beds

• Established Beds: Apply 1.5 cups per 10 sq. ft. in early spring. At this rate, a 6 lb bag will cover 155 sq. ft. and a 25 lb bag will cover approximately 645 sq. ft.

• New Beds: Apply 2.5 cups per 10 sq. ft. At this rate, a 6 lb bag will cover 75 sq ft. and a 25 lb bag will cover approximately 312 sq. ft.

• Re-apply: 1.5 cups per 10 sq. ft. in 6-8 weeks.

Potted Plants

• 4" Pots: 1.5 tbsp every 4-6 weeks

• 6" Pots: 2-3 tbsp every 4-6 weeks

• 10" Pots: 7 tbsp every 4-6 weeks

• Larger Pots: 1/4 cup for every cubic foot of soil every 4-6 weeks

Trees & Shrubs

• Diameter 4' or Less: apply 1 cup per foot of diameter around the drip line of the tree.

• Diameter Larger Than 4': apply 1.5 to 2 cups per foot of diameter around the drip line of the tree.

• Re-apply: 2 cups per foot of diameter around the drip line of the tree.
